Making Sense of Your Retirement Paperwork, One Document at a Time
Quietude offers small-group orientation sessions, personal records organisation, and coordination support for those managing provident fund and pension documents in Malaysia.
Three Ways We Can Help
Each offering is an information, education, or clerical support service. No legal or financial advice is given at any stage, and no representation before any institution is offered.
§ 01

What Sets Our Approach Apart
Education First
Every session is framed as general education. We explain what documents say and how records systems are typically structured — leaving interpretation to you and your chosen professionals.
Unhurried Pace
Retirement paperwork spans years, sometimes decades. We work at a pace that suits you, scheduling appointments around your availability rather than pushing for quick closure.
Clerical Rigour
Index sheets, naming conventions, and submission calendars make your file readable by anyone — whether you pass it to a family member or a registered adviser in the future.
Clear Boundaries
We do not correspond with institutions on your behalf, do not advise on entitlements, and do not provide legal or financial opinions. Where formal advice is needed, we point you to the right source.
Small Groups
Orientation sessions are kept small so that every attendee has space to ask questions and work through their own checklist at a comfortable pace.
Referral Ready
Extended engagements include a directory of registered practitioners in your state, so that formal advice always comes from a properly qualified source.
Not Sure Where to Begin?
Send us a message describing where you are in the process — whether you have a box of unsorted statements or are missing years of records entirely. We will suggest the most suitable starting point.
Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly does an orientation session cover?
The three-hour session walks through the types of documents commonly involved in Malaysian retirement planning — provident fund statements, employer contribution records, identity documents, and official correspondence. Each field on a typical statement is explained in plain language. The session does not interpret your personal situation or advise on what your records mean for your entitlements. You leave with a printed workbook and a checklist of documents worth locating.
Do you provide legal or financial advice?
No. Quietude's work is educational, informational, and clerical. We explain what documents are and help you organise them. We do not advise on your entitlements, do not correspond with institutions on your behalf, and do not provide legal or financial opinions. For formal advice, we provide a directory of registered practitioners in your state.
How long does the Personal Records Organisation Programme take?
The programme runs across four appointments spread over six weeks. Each appointment focuses on a specific area — gathering documents, building the index, identifying gaps, and producing the written summary. Appointments can be scheduled at our Kuala Lumpur office or, where suitable, at your home. The pace is designed to accommodate working professionals and retirees alike.
Who is the Records Coordination programme for?
It suits families dealing with a long or complicated paper trail — for example, where someone worked for several employers across several decades, or where records were kept in multiple locations. It is also appropriate where a family member needs to organise documents on behalf of an older relative. The programme covers building a master register, maintaining a log of correspondence sent and received, and preparing a neutral summary for any qualified professional you engage separately.
What is the pricing and how is payment made?
The Orientation Session is priced at RM 460 per person. The Personal Records Organisation Programme is RM 1,600 for the full six-week engagement. The Records Coordination and Referral Support programme is RM 4,100. Payment details are shared on confirmation of your booking. All prices are in Malaysian Ringgit and do not include travel costs if home visits are arranged.
Is my personal information kept confidential?
Yes. Any documents or personal details you share with us during sessions or programmes are used solely to assist with your records organisation work. We do not pass your information to third parties. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
